Consequence Management Interoperability (CMI):
Interagency Effort on WMD The Consequence Management Interoperability Services site is a collaborative effort among government and responder agencies. The objective of CMI-Services is to provide an interactive portal to information aiding prevention, planning, preparedness, response, and recovery from terrorist activities involving weapons of mass destruction. WMD emergency response discussions include chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and/or high-yield explosive (CBRNE) weapons. Such emergencies may present mass casualty situations larger than hazardous material (HAZMAT) accidents. CMI-Services will become an important tool in the protection of national infrastructure assets.
